Former Glastonbury cricket player Jos Buttler is auctioning off his World Cup winning shirt for charity - and bidding currently stands at £65,900.

Buttler, who played at Glastonbury as a teenager, is selling off the shirt to help raise money for the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity.

As the time of writing (11am on April 3) there had been 159 bids from 50 bidders on the online auction site ebay, and with more than four days still to go on the auction, the highest bid currently stands at £65,900.

The iconic long sleeve wicket keeping shirt that Buttler wore during the 2019 World Cup final victory at Lord's has been signed by the team.

While this shirt is precious to Buttler, he says his memories of the day will last a lifetime and he hopes it can raise a lot of money to support this hospital with its life-saving work.

The Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity is dedicated to supporting the two hospitals, Royal Brompton and Harefield, in their work treating two of the world's biggest killers - heart and lung disease.

All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to the charity. Buttler received an MBE in the Queen's New Year Honours for his services to cricket.
