Cheddar Bays pond sluice gates to be left open

The sluice gates at the Cheddar Bays pond have been opened and it is planned that they are to remain open for the time being.

This has been done to allow the Sedgemoor District Council staff who operate the sluice gates to focus on other duties.

The action has also been taken to safeguard the village against flooding.
