Cheddar roadworks for week commencing February 17

There will be traffic control at the bottom of Cheddar Gorge for three days next week.

From Tuesday February 18 to Thursday February 20, stop and go traffic control will be used in the area to enable jetting works to be carried out.

The work will take place on the B3135 The Cliffs and Cliff Street, and in St Andrew's Road and The Lippiatt.

Other roadworks in Cheddar next week include:

There will be temporary traffic lights until the end of Monday February 17 opposite the garage on the B3135 Tweentown to enable Bristol Water to install a new supply.

Also finishing by the end of Monday should be BT's work to replace a jointbox cover on the B3135 Barrows Road.

Finally, from Wednesday February 19 to Friday February 21, BT will be recovering an obsolete pole in Westacre Road.
