The Royal Bath and West Society has announced that Sandford cider-maker Thatchers will be the title sponsor of this year's Bath and West Country Festival.

Held at the Bath and West Showground, near Shepton Mallet, on the August Bank Holiday weekend of August 27 to 29, the Bath and West Country Festival replaces the society's usual Royal Bath and West Show for one year only.

With live music on the Greenwood Stage and on-site camping, it is being hailed as the perfect opportunity to get together with friends for a bank holiday break.

If you pop along to the Thatchers bar next to the main ring you'll be able to enjoy some of the Thatchers cider favourites such as Gold, Haze and Rosé as well as sampling some of their small batch Cider Barn ciders and new releases such as Thatchers Cloudy Lemon.

There'll be entertainment at the Thatchers bar too with music across the three-day festival.
