The idea has been put forward for street food at the Axbridge Pageant in August, to give local suppliers a chance to cater for the influx of visitors.

This was an idea floated at a recent Axbridge Chamber of Commerce networking meeting: with the pageant on August 29 to 31 this year, perhaps there could be a food festival – maybe street food – set up in the town over the weekend giving visitors more places to eat – and a chance of local suppliers to sell their food and drink.

If any group in the town would like to take the idea forward, then they can contact Harry Mottram at the chamber of commerce via [email protected].
