Cheddar area roadworks for week commencing December 14

Temporary traffic lights are planned on the A371 between Rodney Stoke and Westbury-sub-Mendip this week.

The lights are scheduled to be used on Tuesday (December 15) near to the Bucklegrove Holiday Park.

They are set to be in place to enable BT to replace a telegraph pole.

Other roadworks in the Cheddar area that are due to take place this week include:

The temporary traffic lights on the A371 Draycott Road in Cheddar for Wales and West Utilities to replace a gas main are set to continue until December 21.

From Wednesday (December 16) to Friday (December 18), BT is scheduled to be repairing a faulty telecommunications cable in Charterhouse Close, Cheddar.

The work by Wales and West Utilities to repair a gas leak in Sharpham Road is due to be completed on Tuesday.

Finally, BT's work to repair a faulty telecommunications cable in Froglands Way is also set to be finished on Tuesday.
