Cheddar area roadworks for week commencing December 21

Temporary traffic lights are planned on the A371 through Draycott this week for roadworks.

The multi-way lights are scheduled to be in place on Wednesday (December 23) at the junction of Wells Road and Back Lane.

They are set to be used to enable Bristol Water to repair a frame and cover in the area.

Other roadworks that are due to take place in the Cheddar area leading up to Christmas include:

The temporary traffic lights on the A371 Cheddar Road in Axbridge for BT to replace a jointbox frame and cover are scheduled to remain in place until Wednesday.

On Monday (December 21) and Tuesday (December 22), Bristol Water is set to be rectifying a defective reinstatement in Rughill, Crickham.

Also, from Tuesday to Christmas Eve, Somerset Highways are due to be removing posts on the A371 Station Road.
