Cheddar firefighters help tackle blaze in which caravan in Star is destroyed

A caravan was destroyed in a fire in Star yesterday afternoon (July 23).
Just after 3.30pm yesterday, fire crews from Cheddar and Burnham-on-Sea attended a caravan on fire at Laneside in Star.
The caravan was completely destroyed in the blaze, and gas bottles had to be removed prior to the arrival of the fire service.
The remainder of caravan was extinguished using one hose reel jet. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
