Cheddar roadworks for week commencing January 20

There are going to be temporary traffic lights on the A371 heading out of Cheddar next week.
The lights will be in place on the Draycott Road section of A371 by the new house from Wednesday January 22 to February 3.
Western Power Distribution require the lights so they can put in a 55-metre trench to connect up a new supply.
Other roadwork in Cheddar this week include:
On Tuesday January 21 and Wednesday, there will be stop and go traffic control on the A371 Upper New Road for works by Wales and West Utilities.
The multi-way temporary traffic lights at the junction of Sharpham Road and Lower New Road for Wales and West Utilities to repair a gas leak, should be removed by Monday January 20.
Also finishing by Monday should be BT's work to repair a service in Bradley Cross Lane.
Finally, Western Power Distribution will be undertaking reconductoring work in The Hayes on Wednesday.
