There will be roadworks on the narrow A371 Church Street in Cheddar next week.

From Friday March 13 to March 17, there will be stop and go traffic control outside of Church Farm to enable Wessex Water to undertake a CCTV survey and clean the sewers from the manholes in the road.

Similar work will also be taking place under stop and go traffic control on Friday on the B3135 Union Street outside of Dorchester House.

Other roadworks scheduled to take place in Cheddar next week include:

From Thursday March 12 to March 16, temporary traffic lights are scheduled to be in place in Cheddar Business Park, so Wessex Water can repair or replace a frame and cover.

Finally, BT's work to repair a cable and joint fault in Froglands Way is scheduled to be completed by the end of Monday March 9.
