Lion president Keith out delivering laptops

Cheddar Vale Lions Club have been receiving donations, via the BBC Make a Difference website as well as the club's Facebook page and website, of laptops no longer being used but suitable to be repurposed.

These are then being distributed to families struggling with homeschooling with their children on unsuitable devices or having to share.

The devices are repurposed in line with the schools' requirements and PAT tested before they are delivered to families.

This is all at no cost as the club has received a couple of donations to enable the purchase of spare parts where necessary.

The club has 20 available at the moment for immediate delivery, which is done within Covid rules.

Families, local groups or organisations can contact the club via www.cheddarvalelions.org.uk or email [email protected].
