We get asked who we are and why we do what we do. So please see below, I hope it helps!

Fusion Family Somerset is a CIC (community interest company) that has been around in Cheddar for three years, we have provided lunch clubs in schools, school assemblies, family events, advice and support, food barn (working with local families providing fresh food), youth and children's clubs and family events.

And now we have the hub that is made up of two parts:

Cafe- good food reasonably priced all made on site.

The cafe is in the heart of the village and a great meeting place. Hub- the hub is our community arm providing support for all ages and providing a place of support, help and much more. We have some amazing activities starting from the new year so watch this space! Here's what's to come: We will be introducing Family dinner nights with a pay what you can scheme. Over 60's meals. Youth milkshake bar and drop in youth clubs for secondary school aged children. Holiday at home and dementia support. Food barn and surplus food pantry. Benefit and debt advice. Parenting courses Toddlers and their carers groups. Hangouts for adults for social meet ups, food and discussion. Family church once a month with food, craft and relevant topics for all ages. And so much more! All our staff are volunteers and we are a Christian organisation. There is a lot there and so much we want to do. We need volunteers, financial support, and lots of other areas where people can help. For any information on this please ask one of our team or email [email protected]. So the reason for cafe opening times is due to all the other community activities that we want to provide. So be kind, come support us and if you have been give us a review!!
