Domiciliary Health Care Assistant - Cheddar

Are you looking for a career in healthcare? Are you passionate about providing care to the elderly and vulnerable?

Then look no further as Network Healthcare are recruiting for Domiciliary Care Workers to work in and around the Somerset area.

We are a dedicated and passionate team of staff who provide all aspects of healthcare to individuals 1-1 within their own homes working varied shift patterns, choosing your own availability and a flexible schedule.

We cover the whole of Somerset on our domiciliary rounds and our runs include Cheddar, Axbridge, Wells and surrounding areas and then we also cover Brean, Burnham, Highbridge and surrounding areas.

Our shift patterns are 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm, and staff are required to work every other weekend. Your availability will be required during the interview process.

During each shift time there are allocated times for our individual service users and this is based on the care requirements they desire. They can be 30-minute, 45-minute and 60-minute calls.

Your duties will involve:

  • Assisting with any manual handling requirements
  • Supporting and assisting with all personal care requirements
  • Charting or taking notes for others to review
  • Providing companionship and supportive listening
  • Observing/reporting any changes in the health or status of the client
  • Preparing meals and feeding clients
  • Responding to emergency situations
  • Prompting and administering medication
  • Accompanying and transporting clients to appointments/social events
  • Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities

For this job role our requirements from you are:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Positive attitude towards individuals and colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Kind and caring nature with a passion to help others

Class 1 Tipper Drivers - Cheddar

Class 1 Tipper drivers required for ongoing, full-time work based in Cheddar, BS27.

  • Monday to Friday, early starts (between 5am and 8am)
  • Usually around a 10-hour day
  • No nights out

The right candidate:

  • Valid Category CE licence (no more than six points)
  • Up to date Digital Tachograph Card and driver's CPC
  • Tipper experience is essential

Job specifics:

Contract, full-time. £14 per hour.

Customer Service Manager - Cheddar

REED Business Support are working with a fantastic client, recruiting for a Customer Service Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.

Are you passionate about customer service? Do you have previous leadership experience? Have you worked as a Customer Service Manager or similar? Have you got experience of managing a team?

This role has come available due to an internal move within the business, and looking for their next star Customer Service Manager to start ASAP.

You will be taking care of a team a team of 10 to 12, of whom look after customers in both the North and the South of the country.

Office: Fully office based

Duties:

  • Ensure effective provision of all aspects of the orders cycle from enquiry/quotation to despatch and invoicing, including resolution of any queries at any point.
  • Ensure professional and timely handling of customer enquiries.
  • Manage direct reports, including their recruitment, induction, training, development, and appraisals, to achieve functional and company goals.
  • Promote key skills of accuracy, questioning, efficiency, effectiveness, and initiative and customer service skills within the team.
  • Support the Sales Director in providing key information for handling customer demands and problem solving.
  • Ensure smooth running of internal systems and beneficial working relationships with internal suppliers, particularly the Operations and Finance teams.
  • Report on OTIF and drive improvements throughout team to achieve targets, take effective action to succeed.
  • Drive improvement, high service levels and efficiencies, through process review and continual improvement ethos.
  • Actively drive 'WGLL' throughout the team, coach and develop to meet first level requirement.
  • Engage and lead projects to continual improvements way of working
  • Accurately report on agreed KPIs to management and team.
  • Reduce costs driven through inaccurate performance of the team, share accountability to Operations and Director if necessary.
  • Ensure operation systems are used effectively and maintained to deliver expected outcomes. NAV, OCR, EDI, CRM.
  • Interpret instructions and implement actions according to policies and procedures.

Job specifics:

Permanent, full-time. Salary £25,000 to £28,000 per annum.
