Marketing Executive - Cheddar

This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join a global consumer business based in Cheddar.

This position can have the mix of home and office working to accommodate candidates from as far as Bristol and Bath.

You will join a settled and established marketing team, with the opportunity to work across a wide range of marketing channels. Ideally somebody with more than two years' marketing experience would be ideal for this role.

The experience we need:

A marketing of similar degree would be nice to have, alongside two years' marketing experience. We will still welcome applicants without a degree.

The Marketing Executive will ideally have some experience in the following areas:

  • Content writing
  • Digital marketing
  • Creative design experience
  • Events
  • Direct marketing and email
  • Website management
  • SEO/PPC
  • Social media

The role:

As part of a marketing team, you will help manage and co-ordinate a variety of different campaigns.

From producing creative campaign ideas for product launches to running digital marketing campaigns across both B2C and B2B channels, you will be keen to progress and learn while becoming a valuable personality within this close-knit team.

Data Analyst IT - Cheddar

We are seeking a Data Analyst who is keen on career progression, longer term for you to migrate into head of data.

This opportunity gives you the ability to work with many of the world's leading FMCG brands and agencies.

Your role is to provide technical support to data team members and clients in the provision of solutions, assisting with all assigned data-related activities.

The role involves supporting with the importing, cleaning, transforming and validating data with the purpose of understanding and making conclusions to maximise success for our clients' campaigns.

Key responsibilities:

Perform junior level data validation for our clients, to ensure they are consistent to the terms and conditions of our promotions.

Provide reports and automation to our clients and our business.

Prepare and maintain all applications utilising standard development tools.

Utilise backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.

Use test driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality.

Key strengths:

Computer literate - Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Advanced Excel skills are required.

Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.

Proficient in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS - would be preferred.

Basic knowledge MySQL would be preferred.

Knowledge of APIs, such as Twitter, Facebook, Google Maps, Instagram, etc.

Programming language - beneficial.

Understanding of security protocols and administration.

Effective management of client data.

Demonstrate advanced skills in process.

All data related procedures and data cleansing.

Report principles.

Understanding of MySQL's underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and MyISAM - not essential.

Characteristics:

This role requires excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Due to the nature of the role, you must be an innovative thinker and be able to work logically through problems and provide solutions.

It is imperative you can work productively as part of a team and be able to communicate with people at all levels.

Organisation is also key to this role as meeting client deadlines is paramount as is the ability to demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy at all times as it is essential that company standards are maintained at all times.

Job specifics:

Permanent, full-time. Salary £22,000 to £28,000 per annum.
