Support Worker - Axbridge
Prospero Health and Social Care are looking for Agency Support Workers who are looking to pick up extra shifts in the Axbridge area. We have plenty of shifts available so the role can be as part-time or as full-time as you prefer.
Our client is a residential home caring for 36 adults with physical disabilities. Your role as a support worker will be to provide a high level of care and support to vulnerable people - you will assist with daily tasks including assistance with mealtimes, personal care, medication administration, encouraging and motivating participation in activities, enabling them to live the life they choose.

Location - Axbridge

Support Worker experience, training and qualifications:
- Experience in a support work/care environment
- Up-to-date mandatory training - Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Prevention, Equality and Diversity, Autism training (all can be completed free with Prospero)
- Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Health and Social Care if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
- Health and Social Care Level 2 or 3 (desirable but not essential)
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Possess an enhanced DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide two professional care-related references.
Family Solicitor - Cheddar
Are you a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive (3+ years PQE) in Somerset looking for a potentially quick route to Partnership? You may be in a top heavy department, and be looking for genuine career progression. This local firm have a good reputation in the market and its Family Law department is headed up by an exceptionally well experienced Family Solicitor, who you will learn and work directly alongside. Payroll and Compliance Administrator - Cheddar

The right candidate will need to able to work using their own initiative and have the ability to manage a varied workload. Responsibilities of the role:- Processing all new starters within the business
- Processing DBS checks for employees working at vulnerable contract sites
- Recording any absences or holiday requests and updating Area Managers of these
- Creating monthly timesheets for each site and sending to employees
- Inputting all employee's monthly hours onto the payroll system and processing their pay
- Dealing with all incoming HR, Payroll and Compliance queries via email and telephone
- Reviewing compliance audits for sites and holding monthly meetings to ensure regulations are being met
- Support the HR & Payroll Manager in all day-to-day tasks
Skills required for the role:
- Previous administration and customer-focused experience is highly advantageous
- The ability to work using your own initiative and manage a busy workload
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
- A forward-thinker that has a keen eye for detail
