Senior Student Team from Kings Academy in Cheddar donate £10,000 of support to charities

This week the Senior Student Team at Kings Academy in Cheddar invited in their chosen three charities to receive cheques from the £10,000 raised during Charities Week in October.

Both Weston Hospice Care and Somewhere House Somerset were able to attend and talk to students about the work the money they raised will support.

Plastic Oceans UK could not attend but are the third recipient of £3,333.33.

A spokesperson for the school said: "This was amazing work by the team for such great causes."
