Cheddar Parish Council is inviting all residents of the parish to nominate individuals or groups for community service awards.

These are given annually to people who have contributed significantly to the community, whether for work done over the past year or commitment over many years.

No awards were made in 2020 because of difficulties posed by lockdown restrictions, but perhaps not since wartime has the community pulled together as it did last year.

Many people gave up their time to help those who were shielding or self-isolating and they could well be candidates for awards this year. Others too who have contributed to the community in different ways should also be considered.

For more information and a nomination form go to the Cheddar Parish Council documents library HERE and go to the Miscellaneous Documents section, or contact [email protected], 01934 743217. Closing date for nominations is Friday March 19 2021.
