Cheddar Parish Council has announced its grants scheme for 2021.

Grants of up to £1,000 are available to community, voluntary and not-for-profit organisations to provide a service or project for the benefit of people living in the parish.

The parish council will support a wide and varied range of projects, including filling gaps in existing services, developing new initiatives and community activities, and supporting the rural heritage.

Environmental schemes, including mitigating the effects of climate change, and projects aimed at reducing crime or the fear of crime in the parish would also be suitable.

Grants must be used within one year and applicants are required to report back on the achievements of their schemes.

Full guidance notes and application forms are available at www.cheddarparishcouncil.org/community-grants/ or contact [email protected], 01934 743217. Deadline for applications is March 4 2021.
