Plans submitted to convert four barns into homes on farm between Blackford and Mark

A planning application has been submitted to Sedgemoor District Council to convert four barns into homes on a farm between Blackford and Mark.

The application for the change of use and conversion of four agricultural barns to four residential dwellings, the removal of concrete hardstanding and redundant farm buildings to create garden and parking areas, and the formation of driveway and vehicular access at Totney Farm, has been submitted by Mr and Mrs Comer.

Planning applications submitted to Sedgemoor District Council this week in the Cheddar area include:

Reduce height of mulberry (T1) by 2m and re-shape crown at 22 West Street, Axbridge, by Mrs Disbury has been approved.

Application to determine if prior approval is required for a proposed change of use of agricultural buildings to five dwelling houses and for associated building operations at Manor Farm, New Road, Chapel Allerton, by Mr Duckett has been refused.

Erection of a stone wall at 54 St Andrew's Road, Cheddar, by Ms Bourne has been approved.

Application for the prior approval of a single storey extension extending from the rear (west) elevation four metres at Lucerne, Upper New Road, Cheddar, by Mr N Paton has been approved.

Erection of two storey extension to side (south east) elevation at 11 Comrade Avenue, Shipham, by Mr and Miss Mundy and Bale has been approved.

Retrospective application for the use of annex as holiday let/annex at Fernacre, Bristol Road, Star, by Miss Smallwood has been approved.

Sycamore (T1) crown raise to 6m above ground level from the base of tree at Tanglewood, Plud Street, Wedmore, by Mr Warren-Smith has been approved.

Rowan (T1) reduce crown by up to 1m and reshape to reasonable growing points at Units 1 And 2, The Borough Mall, Wedmore, by Mr Milsom has been approved.

Erection of a two storey extension to side (north west) elevation, on site of existing (to be demolished) and erection of a single storey extension to the rear (north east) elevation at 8 Council Houses, Mudgley Lane, Mudgley, by Mr A Carhart has been refused.

Reduce height and spread of ash T1, T5 and sycamores T2, T3, T4, T6, T7 by 2m at The Sycamores, Dandos Lane, Wedmore, by Mr Cousins has been approved.
