Prickles Hedgehog Rescue in Cheddar has made an appeal for newspaper to use as bedding for its animals.

The charity is currently caring for more than 190 hedgehogs and it is running out of newspaper to use as bedding for the hogs.

If you have some newspaper you can donate, please call the charity on 07806 744772.

There are many other things you can donate to help the charity as well, including good quality cat and dog food, latex gloves, blue paper towel rolls, dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, washing powder, fleeces and printing supplies.

Prickles treat and rehabilitate hedgehogs that come into their care with life-threatening illnesses and injuries.

Based in Cheddar, they take in hedgehogs from across Somerset, North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol and surrounding Mendip area.
