Sedgemoor's running family duo to tackle 50-mile challenge

One of Sedgemoor District Council's youngest employees - Natalie Smith, aged 16 - will be running 50 miles in April for Prostate Cancer UK after a friend needed their help last year.

Natalie joined Sedgemoor last November as graphic design apprentice.

Natalie will be joined by her running mate – her brother, Alex Smith – who is also employed at Sedgemoor as major projects officer.

He is joining her in her quest for support, but they are no strangers to fundraising - as a family, they have regularly raised monies running for charity including Teenage Cancer Trust, Race for Life, British Legion Poppy Appeal and they ran in memory of PC Harper.

Any donations would be gratefully received, via the website https://runthemonth.prostatecanceruk.org/fundraising/natalie630.
