Somerlap in Mark re-opens garden products business online

Gardeners and DIY-ers of the Cheddar area rejoice – Somerlap in Mark has re-opened for online orders.

The company's garden products business was temporarily closed last month following the Government's advice, but has now re-opened for online orders.

This decision was taken after careful consideration, and new operating procedures have been created to ensure that safety and hygiene are maintained.

Customers can now purchase the parts they need to carry out home repairs, and Somerlap is also selling other items for you to improve your garden during lockdown.

If you have pre-ordered and pre-paid for your products you can collect them from Somerlap in Mark on a pre-arranged day and time slot, or you can arrange a delivery.

Kevin Bond, managing director, said: "We're delighted to have accepted a significant amount of orders since we re-opened our website at the weekend, and would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support during this difficult time.

"I'd also like to give a huge thank you to our wonderful staff, in particular the pallet manufacturing department, who have continued to work throughout the pandemic to produce the pallets which are so vital to the supply chain."
