We have almost certainly all been there - forgotten some vital ingredient, or gift - and needing to make a last-minute dash down to a supermarket.

Check below for the New Year opening times for Sainsbury's and Tesco Express in Cheddar.

SAINSBURY'S:

New Year's Eve: 7am to 7pm

New Year's Day: 9am to 7pm

Thursday January 2: 8am to 9pm

Friday January 3: 8am to 9pm

TESCO EXPRESS:

New Year's Eve: 7am to 10pm

New Year's Day: 8am to 10pm

Thursday January 2: 7am to 11pm

Friday January 3: 7am to 11pm
