Axbridge Farmers Market is taking place on Saturday

As more and more events are being organised locally, Nub News is launching a new weekly round up of what's on in the Cheddar area each weekend.

Every Thursday we will now bring you our top picks of the events in our What's On section for the coming weekend.

And don't forget, if your business or organisation is running an event, you can advertise it for free with Cheddar Nub News.

Simply follow this link to our What's On section and click the black 'Nub It' button to get started.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1. Axbridge Farmers Market

The market is held on the first Saturday of every month in the historic 400 year old market square.

Ancient Axbridge provides an ideal setting for a market, with its picturesque square and excellent selection of producers.

It's no wonder the market has been shortlisted for Taste of the West's Best Farmer's Market category two years in a row.

2. Flossy Baba Sale

Flossy Baba, the purveyors of exclusive goods from Italy, will be holding an autumn sale of scarves, ponchos, clothes, leather bags and jewellery.

The sale will take place on Saturday November 6 from noon to 4pm.

It is taking place at 42 West Street, in Axbridge, and the organisers say they would appreciate it if masks were worn by visitors.

3. Indoor Jump Training with Andrew Lovell

Indoor jump training is being held with Andrew Lovell - BHS Performance Coach (BHSI) at Badgworth Arena.

Taking place on Sunday 7th November, the cost is £35 per group, up to a maximum of three riders.

Training times are from 9am to 4.30pm.
