Arson suspected over vehicle fire near Axbridge

A vehicle fire near Axbridge yesterday afternoon (May 29) is believed to have been an arson attack.

Just after 4pm, a fire crew from Cheddar came across a vehicle and an amount of rubbish alight in Cross Moor Drove.

The crew used one breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire, which they believe was caused deliberately.
