Cheddar area roadworks for week commencing February 3

There will be temporary traffic lights on the A371 Wells Road in Draycott this week.

On Tuesday February 4, the lights will be in place so Bristol Water can do lead replacement work.

However, the temporary traffic lights that have been on the A371 Draycott Road in Cheddar, for Western Power Distribution to install a new supply, should be removed by the end of Monday February 3.

Other roadworks in Cheddar this week include:

On Wednesday February 5 and Thursday February 6, there will be stop and go traffic control on the A371 Upper New Road and the B3151 Lower New Road for Wales and West Utilities work.

From Monday to Wednesday, Bristol Water will be locating a buried valve in Westacre Road.

Finally, from Thursday to February 10, Bristol Water will be repairing a leak in Birch Close.
