Cheddar roadworks for week commencing May 18

Temporary traffic lights are scheduled to be in place on the B3151 Cheddar Moor Road, on the edge of the village, until next month as roadworks crews step up their return to work following the easing of the coronavirus lockdown.

The lights are scheduled to be in place from Hythe Bow Bridge heading away from the village until June 9.

They are there so Wales and West Utilities can replace an old metallic gas main with a new plastic one, and connect up nearby properties.

Other roadworks in Cheddar next week include:

The stop and go traffic control in Wedmore Road for jetting works to be carried out is scheduled to be completed on Monday (May 18).

From Monday to Wednesday May 20, Bristol Water are scheduled to be repairing a leak in Orchard Way.

Finally, the Wales and West Utilities work to lay a new service in Lynch Lane is scheduled to be finished on Wednesday.
