Temporary traffic lights are scheduled to be used on the B3151 between Cheddar and Clewer next week.

BT plans to work on ducts along the road, and from Monday (September 7) to Wednesday (September 9) the lights are due to be positioned closer to Cheddar in the Lower New Road area.

Then, from Thursday (September 10) to September 14, they are set to be moved closer to Clewer in the Cheddar Moor Road area.

With both sets of lights, there will be workers on hand to operate them manually if traffic builds up too much.

Other roadworks scheduled to take place in Cheddar next week include:

Hannay Road and Warrens Hill are due to be closed from 8am to 4pm on Sunday (September 13), to enable A-Plant Lux to carry out cabling works on behalf of BT Openreach.

From Monday to Thursday, BT is set to be carrying out fibre cabling and jointing work in Millbourne Road.
