Starting tonight (March 5), Cheddar Artists are launching a new theatre project to create characters and stories to bring 1945 back to life over the Cheddar Arts Festival weekend.

This year the three-day festival incorporates celebrations of the 75th Anniversary of VE Day and this project is a great opportunity to get involved and perform as part of the festival programme.

Anyone aged over 14 is welcome to come and join us tonight, or even next week if you've only just seen this. You don't need any experience to take part, just the enthusiasm to give it a go.

Beccy Lloyd, who has worked in community and professional theatre companies, including Bristol Old Vic for more than 20 years, will be there to help you learn new skills, gain confidence and tell a great story.

If you have any questions, contact Beccy on 07533 000984 or email [email protected].
