Join the Seed artistic group this October half term for a free creative arts pop-up event taking place in Cheddar.

With activities ranging from circus skills and creative writing to badge making and an open mic session there promises to be something for everyone at Create the Future.

The free event will offer the opportunity to get involved with a whole host of creative activities suitable for all ages.

With performances and displays going on throughout the events, there will be a real "pop-up mini-festival" vibe.

Scott O'Hara, Seed's director, said: "We want to create more activities and for them to be what local people actually want to do, and so Create the Future will also be an open space for anyone to share their thoughts about the creative activities and opportunities in the area.

"Please do come along and talk to us about how we can help to make your community more creative."

Information gathered at the events will lead directly to commissioning artists and groups to put on future activities and events throughout Sedgemoor by Seed.

The Create the Future event will take place on Friday (October 29) at Cheddar Village Hall, from 1pm to 3pm.

There is no need to book, just turn up. For more information, email [email protected].
