The man who tragically died in the fatal crash on the A371 Axbridge bypass on June 24 has been officially named.

An inquest was opened today (July 1) into the death of Jacob Ford, of Orchard Road, Axbridge, who was 24 when he died in the single vehicle collision on the A371.

Senior Somerset coroner Tony Williams adjourned the inquest for three months for further investigations to take place.

However, he confirmed that this was a single vehicle crash involving a Ford Mondeo.
