The manager of Greenhill House care home in Cheddar has tapped into her talents from a previous life to assume the role of hairdresser and keep residents looking at their best.
With the home's usual stylist unable to visit due to the coronavirus lockdown, Jenny picked up the scissors and took it upon herself to give residents the salon treatment.
A spokesperson for Somerset Care, who run Greenhill House, said: "The current restrictions may be challenging but it is important to remember this is a small sacrifice and it is our duty to help protect each other and the wonderful key workers who continue to make a far bigger sacrifice on a daily basis.
"At Somerset Care the situation impacts every aspect of our services, with the main priority being the safety of colleagues and the continuity of support for those entrusted into our care.
"Yet, despite the severity a new found ability to adapt and improvise has arisen, with Greenhill House in Cheddar finding solutions to everyday problems in some unlikely places, and so still delivering something that resembles business as usual, even in these highly unusual circumstances.
"Jenny ensured the Cheddar-based residents continue to look their very best - after all who doesn't feel better after a trip to the salon?
"Everyone at Greenhill would like to say a huge thank you to the local community, the support and generosity we are receiving at this time is overwhelming. Stay safe everyone."
