A detached garage at a house in Cheddar can now be converted into living accommodation after planning permission was given by Sedgemoor District Council.
The application for the conversion of a detached garage/store outbuilding to ancillary accommodation with disabled access at Bradley House, Bradley Cross Lane, Bradley Cross, Cheddar, was made by Mr Schofield.
The plan is to turn the garage into a one-bedroom home, and support was given by Cheddar Parish Council as long as the new home was occupied by a relative of the main home, and was annexed as a subsidiary to the main house.
