A team from Sansum Solutions in Cheddar will be undertaking a 15,000ft skydive this month to raise money for Children's Hospice South West (CHSW).
The trio were supposed to jump on September 25, but due to inclement weather are now scheduled to take the challenge on October 7 and and they will be plunging from 15,000ft at Dunkeswell Airspace in aid of the charity.
Jason Woodcock, managing director, Jennifer Wilson, business development manager, and Rachel Porter, HR manager of Sansum, have all volunteered to brace themselves and prepare for a 120mph freefall lasting up to a minute.
Jason said: "Sansum have chosen Children's Hospice South West as one of our local charities to support this year, recognising the crucial service and support that they provide to children, their siblings and families making the most of short and precious lives through the provision of the best possible hospice care."
CHSW are celebrating their 30th anniversary year and have three dedicated hospices situated at Charlton Farm in Somerset, Little Bridge House in Devon and Little Harbour in Cornwall.
Each hospice provides children with life-limiting conditions and their whole family respite, short breaks, emergency care and palliative care, including end of life care and bereavement support. Sansum has raised 80 per cent so far of its £1,500 target.
Jason said: "Any support you can give us, however small, helps us raise vital funds for this fantastic charity to the benefit of these disadvantaged children and their families that no doubt have suffered ever more greatly during such challenging times that we have all faced in the wake of the Covid pandemic."
