As more and more events are being organised locally, Nub News is launching a new weekly round up of what's on in Cheddar each weekend.

Every Thursday we will now bring you our top picks of the events in our What's On section for the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

1. Hibernal - Winter Open Exhibition

Come and visit The Arts Quarter's 1st Winter Open Exhibition.

A wide variety of artists' work based on winter.

From photography, sculptures, paintings and textiles... a must see.

2. Cheddar Christmas Trees Up and Lit

Meet at 10am on the stable yard at Petruth Paddocks and load up five trailers with around 20 trees per trailer.

Armed with a list of properties you'll join two others and be responsible for getting those trees up ladders and into brackets.

Cheddar Chamber of Commerce will then meet you at the Riverside around 12pm for bacon rolls and a pint - what's not to like?

3. Baby Sensory Cheddar Winter Term

Baby Sensory offers a world full of exciting experiences like textures, signing, music, light shows and lots more.

You and your baby will experience different sensory activities designed to support your baby's sensory development every week.
