The children might be going back to school, but that is not stopping lots of events taking place in Cheddar.

A number of these events in the Cheddar area are being added to our recently revamped What's On section.

Our top event pick for this week is the Cheddar Food and Drink Festival 2021, which takes place in the Lower Gorge.

The Cheddar Food and Drink Festival supplements Cheddar's fantastic fare by bringing in around 40 stalls offering a wide range of the finest produce in the South West from strawberries to cider, sausages to cheese, local wines and finest ales.

The event is being sponsored by Cheddar Pizza House, and Cheddar Vale Lions Club is pleased to be assisting this event, manning the entrance and marshalling.

The event takes place on Sunday (September 12), and for more information, visit the Facebook page here.

You can list your events - e.g. shows, films, sports fixtures, quiz nights, local markets, steak nights at the local pub, jazz choir rehearsals, or anything else - on our What's On page FREE of charge, just click this link and then click the black Nub It button.
