Thatchers Cider, from Sandford, have been taking to the road again, delivering gifts of alcohol-free cider Zero to front line workers at hospitals and ambulance stations throughout the South West.

Recently they have been to Yeovil Hospital, Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and South West Ambulance Stations across Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire and Bristol where staff have delivered supplies of Zero to paramedics and NHS workers.

During the early part of the year, the drinks firm gave away 15,000 bottles of alcohol-free Zero cider to those on the front line throughout the West Country with a big thank you from everyone at Thatchers.

Now, the company is making more deliveries, supporting hospital and ambulance workers during Lockdown 2.0.

Martin Thatcher, fourth generation cider maker, said: "During lockdown we're thinking of all those working on the front line looking out for us all and taking care of those in need.

"Now more than ever we need to think of our communities, so we're sending cider to health care workers with our thanks and appreciation for all they're doing."
